Inspired by the different worlds of Leonora Carrington's paintings. This knitted piece was created as a surreal fashion statement, joining different pieces to give the illusion of circules and abstract lines in the garment. The whole piece - dress - can be moved to change the three wholes that make a dress - armholes and head hole- so it can become what ever you want that day. Fashion as art is always in motion.
This moodboard was done with art pieces made by me inspire by an art exhibition of Carrington in Mexico. The art pieces on the left were the most trascendental to me and the direct inspiration for my final design.
